Transition Education and Training

The future may seem unclear to our servicemen and women when it comes time to hang up their uniforms at the end of their military careers.At Stillwater Human Capital, we help bridge the gap between military and civilian life through training, career development, and transition mentorship. Our two-week training program is offered to Veterans completely free of charge, allowing them to enter into the fields of government contracting and human resources. 

Staffing Veteran-Owned Businesses With Veterans

We go beyond simple “staffing” - many of our employees and client hires are Veterans who not only understand the nuances of the government workspace, but also the importance of mission support. While we provide services in both the government and civilian arenas, we also support companies with “Veteran-Owned” and “Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned” designations, and we are adept at guiding and identifying organizations with hiring guidelines that incorporate Veteran preference into consideration. This way we are able to both help Vetern-owned businesses find quality employees and help Veterans find companies that value their service. In our private Stillwater Network employees can ask questions, share resumes, and connect with other Veterans to build their careers and find fulfilling positions. 

Using Intel to Fill Government Contracts

You can take a service member out of the military, but you can’t take the knowledge and skills they’ve learned. Once a Veteran is no longer filling a role in uniform, they can use their understanding of government programs and support to effectively find the right contractor to fill vacancies. With a deep understanding of mission support, contract vehicles, and requirements, these recruiters are uniquely equipped to source the right talent.
